Wind Farm
I saw a wonderful sight on the way to my son's hockey game yesterday. We were travelling through a small town in southern Ontario called Shelburne and came upon a wind farm expanding over vast farmland. The huge turbines were rapidly turning from the wind and even though these turbines are huge, they are very graceful and wonderful to watch. I couldn't take my eyes off of them as we drove past. There are 45 of them which generate enough energy to power 20,000 homes. I never realized this wind farm existed in Shelburne and I haven't seen them anywhere else other than on the waterfront in Toronto. It would be wonderful to see more of these wind farms throughout Ontario.
