Head Lice

I think we have escaped the Head Lice that has gone around both of my sons' classrooms recently (knock on wood). I took my mother-in-law's advice and sprayed my sons' hair with hairspray. Apparently, lice do not like hairspray. They also do not like dirty hair so I have not been washing my sons' hair everyday. Another good idea is to use a shampoo with tea tree oil as a preventative measure. At least lice do not live long off the scalp so you don't have to worry about disinfecting the whole house just bedding.
