The Terrible Two's

My daughter will be turning two in March and she is already entering into the "terrible" stage. She has been very easy going up until this point. Now she wants to be independent and she gets frustrated when she can't do things on her own and then the tantrums start. Little things like what cup she drinks out of or what socks she wears will throw her into a tantrum if she does not get her way. I sometimes have to walk away from her and leave her screaming because there is nothing I can do until she settles down. It gets very frustrating for her and myself when she is trying to tell me something and I don't understand her.
