I have found another way to stretch your dollar. If you like to bake and buy pre-made icing, try taking the icing out of the container and put it in a mixing bowl and beat it with your mixer for a few minutes. You will find that it will almost double the amount of your icing and will make it creamier! I used to need 2 containers to frost a double layer round cake and when I beat the icing first, I only use 1 container!
