These are my favourite chocolate oatmeal cookies to make.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup softened butter
2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 cup chopped nuts
2 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla, beating well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a smaller bowl. Add flour mixture to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. I like to line my cookie sheets with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes for chewy cookie and 12 to 15 minutes for crispy cookie.
Just made these and they are GREAT!! I didn't have a full cup of pecans so I did pecans and sliced almonds...yummy!!!
